Agaw Horse Riding Festival

Comprised of more than 50,000 members, the sebat bet Agew horse riding association celebrates its 81 years foundation from 31 January to 02 February every year. The establishment of this festival is traced back to the second Italo-Ethiopian war by the first half of the 20th century. Since then, the association has been celebrating the date of its establishment outdoor colorfully.

All the segments of the society Men, women, youngsters, elders participate in the vibrant annual festival. Participant horsemen and women decorate, embellish, and feed their horses in preparation for the festival.
